I made an appointment to meet with Senator Feinstein this week to discuss health-care reform with her.
The same lobbyists that I used to run into on the Hill back in my lobby days are making a lot of noise and putting the pressure on Congress to Stop Healthcare Reform. They are the Pharmaceuticals and Insurance lobbyists. They have a grand stake in squelching any momentum from gaining ground...just ask your doctor. I asked mine and they believe that the lobbyists will win and nothing will happen once again. I can only say that I still believe in a government of the people, by the people and for the people.....
BUT PEOPLE, IF YOU DON'T SPEAK UP AND MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD...GUESS WHAT?!!!
That's exactly what they want and once again the special interests win. Claim your power as a constituent and ask for the Representation that you deserve! Trust me, you do hold more clout with your Elected Official than any one of those bloated over paid lobbyists the Special Interests send to strong arm Washington.
Don't you think it's about time that you take special interest in your own health and make your voice heard? I certainly do!
