happy thanksgiving surf!

It's true...I've become a wave Ho'. Pushing myself to catch surf as much as possible before it's time to go. I'm not really pushing myself, but it is a challenge to choose to do chores or take care of all the things I should, when I could just as easily head to the beach and hit the surf.

I love this photo of us this morning. A great morning surf followed by the traditional Holiday Pie! We pardoned the turkey and left him in the oven instead.

Last night I made an amazing connection with Marina, who also body surfs and just started stand up paddle surfing. We hit it off immediately and she possess such a joie de vivre. She's high energy like me. So of course, I like her! We hope to paddle surf this weekend in Santa Cruz. The weather will be in the 70's, so of course perfect for it. I'm stoked!

Wow...I just heard a commercial advertising shopping at 4am tomorrow. WTF!!! I mean I can think of at least three things I'd rather be doing at 4am and none of them relate to shopping, although they do begin with "s". :)

Happy Black Friday!

It is the Christmas silly season, where retailers try anything to entice you into their stores--would you like a Hickory Farms Beef Summer Sausage and Parmesan Cheese? It is on sale now! I certainly need to tell you about all the fun selling summer sausage for Christmas.

One thing I will say is that the holiday shoppers are out in force, although they are being very tight with their wallets. People are window shopping now, while selectively buying only if the price is a very low deal. I won't know the Black Friday retail numbers until next week. But I do believe it is going to be a Red Christmas!

Blame it on the Commies!

You split that itty bitty little pie between the four of you?

The turkey got the sweetest holiday deal here--unless it was one of these two poor birds.
